After 25 years on 2nd September, INS Vikrant was reborn and rejoined the Indian Navy. INS Vikrant was retired on 31 January 1997.

INS Vikrant is a mobile city and is equal to two football fields. The decks look like a 10-story building.

A modern kitchen has been built in which food for 16 hundred people can be prepared simultaneously in 1 hour. Its length is 262 meters and width is 62.

It is a floating city. It has a multispecialty hospital. Once fueled, it can stay in the sea for 45 days.

INS Vikrant can carry 30 aircraft. India's second aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya can carry more than 30 aircraft.

Madhu Nair, chairman of Cochin Shipyard, which built INS Vikrant, said by making a huge aircraft for 20 thousand crores in 13 years, we have shown what the Indian industry can do.
