आज दिनांक 31 अगस्त 2023 को जर्मनी के कोलोन में चल रहे 8वीं वर्ल्ड डवार्फ गेम्स 2023 में आज चौथे दिन भारत के लिए खुशियों भरा रहा. आज भारत ने कुल 5 मेडल अपने नाम किया .

बैडमिंटन में भारत के मार्क जोसफ धर्मा (मुंबई) और संतोष कुमार (बिहार) की जोड़ी ने मास्टर्स ग्रुप के क्वार्टर फाइनल में नीदरलैंड के गेरार्ड स्मिथ और कैरोलिन वर्मन की जोड़ी को 11-4, 11-7 से हराकर सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश किया. सेमीफाइनल में जोहांस गियर (जर्मनी) और ऑस्टिन टेट्राड (फ्रांस) की जोड़ी को 11-9, 11-6 से हराकर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया. फाइनल मुकाबले इंग्लैंड के एंड्रयू मार्टिन एवं निजल चिप की जोड़ी ने भारतीय जोड़ी को 6-11, 12-10, 12-10 से पराजित हो, रजत पदक प्राप्त किया. इससे पूर्व सीनियर ग्रुप के एकल स्पर्धा में तमिलनाडु के बाला सुब्रमण्यम ने फ्रांस के अल्बर्ट को 11-8, 9-11, 11-6 से हराकर स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त किया.

मास्टर्स ग्रुप के एकल स्पर्धा में वही तीसरे स्थान के लिए खेले गए मैच में थाइलैंड के चरण छाई को मुंबई के मार्क जोसफ धर्मा ने बेहतरीन खेल का प्रदर्शन किया और 11-4, 11-7 से हराकर कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किया.
महिला युगल स्पर्धा में तीसरे स्थान के लिए खेले जा रहे मैच में कर्नाटक की नंदिनी और कनाडा की जी-मिल की जोड़ी ने भारत के लिए खेलते हुए आयरलैंड की लीज डिमा और डेनमार्क की सेमन मेयर की जोड़ी को 11-8, 11-7 से हराकर कांस्य पदक अपने नाम किया और भारत को दिन का 5वा पदक दिलाते हुए तिरंगा के मान को बढ़ाया.

वही मेडल पाकर संतोष ने अपने कोच कुमार आदित्य को गले लगा लिया और भावुक हो गए और अपने इस मेडल को देश, गुरु एवं कोच को समर्पित करते हुए कहा कि आज यह मेडल आपलोगों के सही मार्गदर्शन एवं प्रशिक्षण का प्रतिफल है जो आपने विभिन्न माध्यमों से लगातार देने का कार्य किया है. बिहार के लाल के इस जीत पर डवार्फ स्पोर्टस एसोसिएशन ऑफ बिहार के राहुल कुमार, रणवीर कुमार, बिहार पैरा स्पोर्ट्स संघ के सचिव संदीप कुमार, पैरालिंपिक कमिटी ऑफ इंडिया- सिलेक्शन कमेटी के चेयरमैन डॉ. शिवाजी कुमार, संतोष सिन्हा, सुगंध नारायण सिंह, पेफी बिहार चैप्टर के उपाध्यक्ष अखिलेश मनी, संयुक्त सचिव कुंदन राज, सहित अन्य खेल संघ के प्रतिनिधियों ने श्री आदित्य को एवं उनके पदक विजेता खिलाड़ी संतोष, मार्क, बाला सुब्रमण्यम, नंदिनी को बधाई दिया.
वही आदित्य ने बताया कि अब उनकी तैयारी 3 अगस्त को होने वाले एथलेटिक्स स्पर्धाओं को लेकर चल रही है, जिसमें भारत से पदक की उम्मीद है.

In the semi-finals, Johannes Geer (Germany) and Austin Tetrad (France) Entered the final by defeating the Indian pair 11-9, 11-6. In the final match, the English pair of Andrew Martin and Nijal Chip defeated the Indian pair by 6-11, 12-10, 12-10, won the silver medal. Earlier in the senior group singles event, Tamil Nadu’s Bala Subramaniam won gold by defeating France’s Albert 11-8, 9-11, 11-6.
In the same third-place match in the singles event of the Masters group, Mumbai’s Mark Joseph Dharma showed excellent performance by defeating Thailand’s Charan Chai 11-4, 11-7 and won the bronze medal.
In the match for the third place in the women’s doubles event, Karnataka’s Nandini and Canada’s G-Mill beat Ireland’s Liege Dima and Denmark’s Simon Mayer 11-8, 11-7. Defeated and won the bronze medal, giving India its 5th medal of the day and raising the flag of the tricolor.

After receiving the same medal, Santosh embraced his coach Kumar Aditya and became emotional and dedicated this medal to the country, guru and coach and said that today this medal is the result of your right guidance and training which you have given through various mediums. Sinha, Sugandh Narayan Singh, PEFI Bihar Chapter Vice President Akhilesh Mani, Joint Secretary Kundan Raj, along with other sports association representatives congratulated Mr. Aditya and his medal winning players Santosh, Mark, Bala Subramaniam, Nandini.
The same Aditya said that now his preparations are going on for the athletics events to be held on August 3, in which India is expected to win a medal.

Heute, am 31. August 2023, war der vierte Tag der 8. World Dwarf Games 2023 in Köln, Deutschland, für Indien voller Freude. Heute hat Indien insgesamt 5 Medaillen gewonnen. Kumar (Bihar) erreichte das Halbfinale, nachdem er im Viertelfinale der Masters-Gruppe das niederländische Paar Gerard Smith und Caroline Werman mit 11:4, 11:7 besiegt hatte. Im Halbfinale erreichten Johannes Geer (Deutschland) und Austin Tetrad (Frankreich) das Finale, indem sie das indische Paar mit 11:9, 11:6 besiegten. Im Endspiel besiegten die Engländer Andrew Martin und Nijal Chip die Inder mit 6:11, 12:10, 12:10 und gewannen die Silbermedaille. Zu Beginn des Einzelwettbewerbs der Seniorengruppe gewann Bala Subramaniam aus Tamil Nadu Gold, indem er den Franzosen Albert mit 11:8, 9:11, 11:6 besiegte.
