The new Tata Punch, Tata Motors’ most recent model, is built on a brand-new chassis and features SUV design cues from the Harrier and other Tata models. The new Punch, according to Tata, is a platform with “the agility of a hatchback and the DNA of an SUV.” Despite the fact that it bears the label “sub-compact SUV,” don’t be duped by the inaccurate description. The Tata Punch is significantly smaller than its bigger SUV rivals and is situated closer to its hatchback rivals. Although it does have some SUV-like features, this elevated hatchback is a little more SUV-like than its rivals. How?

Exterior of a Tata Punch
The new Tata Punch’s external design takes cues from its older siblings, like the Tata Harrier. The 3800mm-long Punch, whose fundamental construction is a hybrid of the two, belongs to a class that includes both hatchbacks and small SUVs.

Due to an increased suspension height, the vehicle has significant ground clearance of 187mm. Additionally, the Tata Punch has sharper A-pillars and strong body lines that become substantially more neutral at the rear, giving the vehicle an athletic and SUV-like appearance. The neutral A-pillars design also resulted in a 1615mm height for the Tata Punch.

Interior Tata Punch
The interior of the new Tata Punch is completely new and has a respectable fit and finish. Doors that bend up to 90 degrees when opened have made it much simpler to enter and exit the cockpit. The dashboard is primarily made of laminated plastic with white panels for contrast.

A floating touchscreen, climate controls on the main unit, and features like cruise control and volume controls on the wheel are all included in the Tata Punch’s interior design. The Tata car has an instrument cluster that is partially digital and somewhat analog for the display.

Both the front and rear seats offer excellent thigh support, and the absence of a transmission hump makes the rear seating extremely comfortable for three passengers. However, the lack of vents or controls for the air conditioning
