Cristiano Ronaldo recently gave an interview to Piers Morgan, after which the relationship between the club and Ronaldo deteriorated. In his interview, Cristiano Ronaldo targeted the club, its honors and former players. Along with this, Ronaldo has accused the owners of Manchester United – the Glazers family of not caring about the team and its players.

Ronaldo recently said in an interview with ‘Pierce Morgan Uncensored’ that some of the club’s top officials were trying to oust him, he said, ‘not only the coach but also three-four other club officials. I feel as if I have been cheated. Ronaldo said about the relationship with manager Erik ten Haag, ‘I don’t respect him (Ten Haag) because he doesn’t respect me either. If you do not respect me, then I will never respect you.

Ronaldo has been in and out of United’s starting XI this season and refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham last month. After this he was not selected in the team for the match against Chelsea. Ronaldo’s contract with United, worth around £500,000 a week, expires in July.
